A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.

Singapore, Singapore to Perth is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. In August, Perth is colder than Singapore - with highs of 22°C and lows of 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Thu) early enough to catch the train to Fremantle.

Kick off your visit on the 9th (Fri): see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, admire the striking features of Scots Presbyterian Church, then get a taste of the local shopping with Fremantle Markets, and finally contemplate the long history of Fremantle Prison. Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
