Take a break from Hobart with a short trip to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton, about 30 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take in the awesome beauty at Mount Wellington, appreciate the extensive heritage of Battery Point Sculpture Trail, steep yourself in history at Cascades Female Factory Historic Site, and take in the views from Richmond Bridge.
