Sydney to Hobart is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, ferry, and bus; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Traveling from Sydney in September, things will get a bit cooler in Hobart: highs are around 18°C and lows about 7°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Wed) so you can go by car to Port Arthur.
