Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
On the 19th (Mon), see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre, then take in the dramatic natural features at The Gap and Natural Bridge, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Greens Pool. On the 20th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Albany's Historic Whaling Station and then enjoy the sand and surf at Little Beach.

Drive from Esperance to Albany in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or take a bus. When traveling from Esperance in November, plan for little chillier days and about the same nights in Albany: temperatures range from 71°F by day to 51°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Tue) so you can drive to Margaret River.

A neat, cosmopolitan city of shaded plazas and laid-back neighborhoods, Cairns serves as a popular base for exploration of the surrounding region and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as a center for watersport activities like surfing or waterskiing.
Explore hidden gems such as Palm Cove Beach and Agincourt Reef. Take a break from the city and head to Scuba & Snorkeling and Australian Butterfly Sanctuary.
