On the 4th (Fri), contemplate the long history of Victoria Bridge Abutment, look for all kinds of wild species at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and then admire the natural beauty at Roma Street Parkland. On the 5th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the waterfront views at The Brisbane River and then let little ones run wild at South Bank Parklands.

Very much a town with an emphasis on the tropical lifestyle, Airlie Beach offers exotic surroundings with palm trees and charming, sandy beaches.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Mon): explore the activities along Heart Reef, enjoy the sand and surf at Airlie Beach Lagoon, and then get some thrills out on the water with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure. On your second day here, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
