A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Take a break from the city and head to Reddell Beach and Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and Animal Refuge. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Broome Bird Observatory and Roebuck Bay.
