Binalong Bay is a small coastal town in north-east Tasmania, situated at the southern end of the Bay of Fires. Kick off your visit on the 11th (Tue): admire the sheer force of Halls Falls, then go for a walk through Bay of Fires, and then kick back and relax at Bay of Fires Conservation Area. On the 12th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take a peaceful walk through Blue Tier, grab your bike and head to Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails, and then explore the striking landscape at Little Blue Lake.

Coles Bay

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Explore Coles Bay's surroundings by going to Kings Fine Art Gallery (in Dolphin Sands), Spring Vale Wines (in Cranbrook) and Spiky Bridge (in Swansea). Next up on the itinerary: look for all kinds of wild species at Freycinet National Park, get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, and do a tasting at Gala Estate Vineyard.

When in Hobart, make a side trip to see Port Arthur Historic Site in Port Arthur, approximately 1h 10 min away.
