Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. Escape the urban bustle at Ten Mile Lagoon and Salmon Beach. Get a sense of the local culture at Cindy Poole Glass Gallery and Esperance Stonehenge. Step off the beaten path and head to Margaret River Mouth Beach and Bunker Bay. Visit Surfers Point and Yallingup Beach for some beach relaxation. Get out of town with these interesting Margaret River side-trips: Canal Rocks (in Yallingup), Sugarloaf Rock (in Cape Naturaliste) and Meelup Beach (in Dunsborough).
