Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Kick off your visit on the 11th (Thu): find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, then identify plant and animal life at Ningaloo Reef, and then meet some fierce fish with a shark diving experience. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: kick back and relax at Jurabi Point Beach and then stroll through Turquoise Bay.

Traveling by combination of train and flight from Fremantle to Exmouth takes 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train, flight, and car; or drive. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Fremantle in April, with highs in Exmouth at 38°C and lows at 23°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Fri) early enough to travel to Perth.

A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
Your inner history buff will appreciate The Perth Mint and St Matthew's Anglican Church. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Caversham Wildlife Park and Trigg Beach. Take a break from Perth with a short trip to Illusionary Art in Herne Hill, about 32 minutes away. There's much more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Scarborough Beach, take in nature's colorful creations at Kings Park & Botanic Garden, make a trip to The Bell Tower, and pause for some photo ops at Kings Park War Memorial.

A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Tue): take an in-depth tour of Broome Historical Museum, stroll through Broome Town Beach, and then kick back and relax at Cable Beach.

Albany

Albany ©
Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Bring the kids along to Greens Pool and Middleton Beach. You'll get in some beach time at Little Beach and Anvil Beach. Step out of Albany to go to Denmark and see Singlefile Wines, which is approximately 56 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre, take an in-depth tour of Albany's Historic Whaling Station, browse the collection at Albany Public Library, and explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge.
