Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Sun): enjoy the sand and surf at Little Beach, then explore and take pictures at Replica of the Brig Amity, and then kick back and relax at Greens Pool. Keep things going the next day: kick back and relax at Anvil Beach, then explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, then stroll through Misery Beach, and finally pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial.
