Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Kings Beach and Kirra Beach. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Museum of Brisbane and Queensland Art Gallery. Change things up with a short trip to Natural Bridge in Springbrook (about 1h 55 min away). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Burleigh Head National Park, identify plant and animal life at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, tour the pleasant surroundings at Moffat Beach, and let the kids burn off some steam at South Bank Parklands.
