Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Mon): take some stellar pictures from Mount Coot-tha Lookout, then identify plant and animal life at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and then find something for the whole family at Channel Seven Wheel of Brisbane. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the world behind art at Queensland Art Gallery and then walk around South Bank Parklands.

Lisbon, Portugal to Brisbane is an approximately 28-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus. The time zone changes from Western European Time to Australian Eastern Standard Time (Queensland), which is usually a 10 hour difference.
