A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
We've included these beaches for you: Gnarabup Beach and Yallingup Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Meelup Beach and Canal Rocks. Venture out of the city with trips to Ngilgi Cave (in Yallingup) and Augusta (Jewel Cave & Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse). Next up on the itinerary: tour the pleasant surroundings at Hamelin Bay, do a tasting at Vasse Felix Winery, Head underground at Lake Cave, and indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Visit Emu Point and Little Beach for some beach relaxation. Albany's Historic Whaling Station and National Anzac Centre are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get out of town with these interesting Albany side-trips: Denmark (Elephant Rocks & Greens Pool) and Tree Top Walk (in Walpole). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Middleton Beach, step aboard Replica of the Brig Amity, explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, and pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial.

Lent iconic status as a result of its famous bridge and opera house, Sydney has a down-to-earth charm that enhances its spectacular setting and functional efficiency.
Visit Manly Beach and Bondi Beach for some beach relaxation. Escape the urban bustle at Wentworth Falls and Jenolan Caves. There's lots more to do: hike along Bondi to Coogee Beach Coastal Walk, stroll through The Opera House to the Botanic Gardens Walk, admire the natural beauty at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, and wander the streets of Darling Harbour.
