A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Fri): learn about winemaking at Wise Wine, then enjoy the sand and surf at Meelup Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Surfers Point. Here are some ideas for day two: Head underground at Lake Cave, then kick back and relax at Hamelin Bay, and then Head underground at Jewel Cave.

Step out of the city life by going to Anvil Beach and Lowlands Beach. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Cosy Corner Beach and Ocean Beach. Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. We've included these beaches for you: Thistle Cove and Blue Haven Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Hellfire Bay and Ten Mile Lagoon.
