A planned city with streets laid out in elaborate, geometric patterns and founded specifically to serve as the capital of the emerging Australian state, Canberra has a self-sufficient atmosphere.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Questacon and National Zoo and Aquarium. Step out of Canberra to go to Paddys River and see Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex, which is approximately 46 minutes away. Spend the 25th (Tue) exploring nature at Namadgi National Park. There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Australian War Memorial, admire the masterpieces at National Portrait Gallery, get in on the family fun at Cockington Green, and contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Burley Griffin.

Kuwait City, Kuwait to Canberra is an approximately 22.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus. The time zone changes from Arabia Standard Time (AST) to Australian Eastern Standard Time (New South Wales) (AEST), which is usually a 7 hour difference. Traveling from Kuwait City in June, expect Canberra to be much colder, temps between 15°C and 0°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
