You've added The Great Ocean Road, 28 Skybar Lounge, Capital City Trail, and other attractions to your itinerary. Get a sense of the local culture at Melbourne Central and Parliament House of Victoria. Head to Degraves Street and Melbourne's GPO - Shopping Centrefor plenty of shopping. Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Do your shopping at Salamanca Market and Art Mob. Port Arthur Historic Site and Wild Island Tasmania are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When in Hobart, make a side trip to see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton, approximately 30 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take in the awesome beauty at Mount Wellington, head off the coast to Macquarie Island, and stop by Nutpatch.

Traveling by flight from Melbourne to Hobart takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry and bus.
