A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Bring the kids along to Cable Beach and Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and Animal Refuge. Spend the 13th (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. And it doesn't end there: take in the dramatic natural features at Gantheaume Point, get outside with Staircase To The Moon, stroll the grounds of Japanese Cemetery, and pause for some serene contemplation at Catholic Diocese of Broome.

Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Singapore in June: high temperatures in Broome hover around 35°C and lows are around 19°C. Settled by colonists and convicts in 1829, Fremantle has transformed its infamous historical buildings into cultural centers.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Perth Zoo and Cottesloe Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Fremantle: Perth (Kings Park & Botanic Garden, The Perth Mint, & more), Caversham Wildlife Park (in Whiteman) and Scarborough Beach (in Scarborough). Margaret River

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Get out of town with these interesting Margaret River side-trips: Busselton Jetty (in Busselton) and Augusta (Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse & Jewel Cave). Spend the 19th (Wed) on a tasty journey with a beer tour and tasting. Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Attractions like Shark Diving and Turquoise Bay make great kid-friendly stops.
