Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.

Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Relax by the water at Turquoise Bay and Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area. Plan for somewhat warmer temperatures traveling from Perth in November, with highs in Exmouth at 41°C and lows at 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Sat) to allow time to travel to Broome.

A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Cygnet Bay Pearls Showroom and Short St Gallery. You'll explore and learn at Broome Gallery and Yane Sotiroski Photography Gallery. Spend the 2nd (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.
