A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Gantheaume Point. Spend the 13th (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Thu): look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas. On your second day here, cool off at Wave Lagoon, don't miss a visit to Nightcliff Jetty, and then admire all the interesting features of Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex.
