Kick off your visit on the 28th (Fri): examine the collection at National Anzac Centre, then take in the dramatic natural features at The Gap and Natural Bridge, then steep yourself in history at The Albany Convict Gaol & Museum, and finally examine the collection at Western Australian Museum - Albany. A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Bunker Bay and Sugarloaf Rock. Spend the 2nd (Wed) on a tasty journey with a beer tour and tasting.
