Explore hidden gems such as Spiky Beach Conservation Area and East Coast Natureworld. Step out of the city life by going to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Dolphin & Whale Watching. Change things up with a short trip to Denison Beach in Bicheno (about 46 minutes away). Next up on the itinerary: trek along Wineglass Bay Lookout, learn about winemaking at Craigie Knowe Vineyard, and take in the waterfront at Coles Bay Jetty.

Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Visit Constitution Dock and Hobart Convict Penitentiary for their historical value. Get outdoors at Opossum Bay Beach and Bellerive Beach. Step out of Hobart to go to Brighton and see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, which is approximately 30 minutes away. The adventure continues: stroll through Kingston Beach, examine the collection at Mawson's Hut Replica Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of St Joseph's Catholic Church, and admire the natural beauty at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.

Traveling by car from Coles Bay to Hobart takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In February, plan for daily highs up to 26°C, and evening lows to 14°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Thu) so you can travel to Margaret River.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Rising Star Winery and National Anzac Centre. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Cheynes Beach and Anvil Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Albany: Denmark (Greens Pool & Lights Beach), Cosy Corner Beach (in Kronkup) and Lowlands Beach (in Lowlands).
