Start off your visit on the 17th (Sun): take in nature's colorful creations at The Royal Botanic Garden and then see a show at Sydney Opera House. On your second day here, take a stroll through The Rocks, then snap pictures at Sydney Harbour Bridge, and then take a stroll through Darling Harbour.

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Wed): take in the waterfront at Coles Bay Jetty, then get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, and then trek along Wineglass Bay Lookout. On your second day here, enjoy the sand and surf at Denison Beach, then do a tasting at Craigie Knowe Vineyard, and then identify plant and animal life at Spiky Beach Conservation Area.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Nanarup Beach and Little Beach. Visit Lights Beach and Greens Pool for some beach relaxation. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Albany: The Denmark Heritage Cider Company (in Scotsdale) and Denmark (Shelley Beach & Ocean Beach). There's more to do: see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre and take in the dramatic natural features at The Gap and Natural Bridge.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Escape the urban bustle at Surfers Point and Jewel Cave. Step off the beaten path and head to Meelup Beach and Mammoth Cave. Change things up with a short trip to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse in Augusta (about 42 minutes away). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Hamelin Bay, let your taste buds guide you at a local gastronomic tour, shop like a local with JahRoc Galleries, and Head underground at Lake Cave.
