Bowral is the largest town in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, and the main business and entertainment precinct of the Wingecarribee Shire and Highlands. Explore Bowral's surroundings by going to The Grape Escape (in Mittagong), Bundanoon (Fairy Bower Falls & Sunnataram Forest Monastery) and Carrington Falls (in Robertson). Spend the 22nd (Thu) exploring nature at Nattai National Park. There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame, take in the dramatic scenery at Belmore Falls, learn about winemaking at Artemis Wines, and look for all kinds of wild species at Mount Gibraltar Reserve.

To find more things to do, ratings, maps, and more tourist information, you can read our Bowral trip planning app .

Sydney to Bowral is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. Traveling from Sydney in November, expect little chillier with lows of 15°C in Bowral. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 24th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
