Beauty Point is a town by the Tamar River, in the north-east of Tasmania, Australia. Start off your visit on the 28th (Fri): do a tasting at Iron Pot Bay Vineyard, do a tasting at Holm Oak Vineyards, and then view the masterpieces at Tamar Valley Art Shack. Here are some ideas for day two: look for all kinds of wild species at Platypus House, then look for gifts at Goaty Hill Wines, and then identify plant and animal life at Tamar Island Wetlands.

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Get some cultural insight at Cape Tourville Lighthouse and Spring Vale Wines. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Wineglass Bay Lookout and Honeymoon Bay. Get out of town with these interesting Coles Bay side-trips: Three Thumbs Lookout (in Orford) and Melshell Oysters (in Swansea). Spend the 1st (Tue) exploring nature at Freycinet National Park. There's lots more to do: do a tasting at Devil's Corner Cellar Door, enjoy the sand and surf at Wineglass Bay, and step off the mainland to explore Maria Island National Park.

Visiting Seven Mile Beach and Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary will get you outdoors.
