Lying in the Tamar Valley and surrounded by forested hills, the grid-patterned city of Launceston boasts shaded avenues, vibrant street life, and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Head to Goaty Hill Wines and Windermere Woodcraftsfor plenty of shopping. Popular historic sites such as Entally Estate and Woolmers Estate are in your itinerary. Go for a jaunt from Launceston to Rowella to see Holm Oak Vineyards about 42 minutes away.
