A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Broome Gallery and Short St Gallery. For shopping fun, head to Cygnet Bay Pearls Showroom or Yane Sotiroski Photography Gallery. Spend the 5th (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Cable Beach, get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, identify plant and animal life at Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and Animal Refuge, and don't miss a visit to Gantheaume Point.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Kick off your visit on the 7th (Sat): stop by The Denmark Heritage Cider Company, explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, explore the world behind art at Vancouver Arts Centre, then examine the collection at National Anzac Centre, and finally take in the exciting artwork at Blush Retail Gallery. Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia.
