A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Cottesloe Beach and Trigg Beach. Do some cultural sightseeing at Fremantle Prison and Tyler's Vineyard. Venture out of the city with trips to Fremantle Markets (in Fremantle), Henley Brook (Old Young's Distillery & Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery) and Caversham Wildlife Park (in Whiteman). And it doesn't end there: take in the exciting artwork at Illusionary Art, take in nature's colorful creations at Kings Park & Botanic Garden, do a tasting at Fig Tree Estate, and contemplate the long history of The Perth Mint.
