Step out of the city life by going to Agincourt Reef and Australian Butterfly Sanctuary. Step off the beaten path and head to Trinity Beach and Spas. Venture out of the city with trips to Palm Cove (Village Gallery & Palm Cove Beach). A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Yallingup Beach and Hamelin Bay. Get outdoors at Sugarloaf Rock and Ngilgi Cave. Get out of town with these interesting Margaret River side-trips: Jewel Cave (in Augusta), Meelup Beach (in Dunsborough) and Canal Rocks (in Yallingup). There's still lots to do: Head underground at Mammoth Cave and look for all kinds of wild species at Sunflowers Animal Farm.
