When in Hobart, make a side trip to see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton, approximately 30 minutes away. On the 16th (Thu), give your taste buds a day to remember with a local gastronomic tour. On the 19th (Sun), spend an adventurous day with a kayaking and canoeing tour. And it doesn't end there: take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, steep yourself in history at Hobart Convict Penitentiary, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Wellington, and examine the collection at Mawson's Hut Replica Museum.
