Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
You'll explore and learn at Museum of Old and New Art and Richmond Gaol. Shop till you drop at Salamanca Market and Nutpatch. When in Hobart, make a side trip to see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton, approximately 30 minutes away.
