A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
On the 29th (Sat), get engrossed in the history at Broome Historical Museum, enjoy the sand and surf at Roebuck Bay, then take in the dramatic natural features at Gantheaume Point, and finally admire nature's wide array of creatures at Aqua Broome. On the 30th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll through Broome Town Beach, explore the different monuments and memorials at Japanese Cemetery, and then kick back and relax at Cable Beach.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Step out of Albany to go to Denmark and see Greens Pool, which is approximately 1 hour away. There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre, take in the dramatic natural features at The Gap and Natural Bridge, kick back and relax at Middleton Beach, and get your game on at GT Karting Albany.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
