Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Bluff Knoll and Rotary Lookout Albany. Get outdoors at Kalgan River and Middleton Beach. Spend the 24th (Tue) observing fascinating marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour. The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Little Beach, stroll through Emu Point, and pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Escape the urban bustle at Margaret River Mouth Beach and Surfers Point. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Gnarabup Beach and Meelup Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Margaret River: Yallingup (Yallingup Beach & Canal Rocks) and Cape Naturaliste (Sugarloaf Rock & Bunker Bay). Kalbarri

Isolated and lapped at by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, the town of Kalbarri boasts a picturesque location amid the dunes and sands of westerly Western Australia.
We've included these beaches for you: Chinaman's Beach and Pot Alley Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Murchison River and Kayaking & Canoeing. Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Ningaloo Marine Park and Cape Range National Park. Step out of the city life by going to Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Safaris. There's lots more to do: explore the stunning scenery at Charles Knife Canyon, don't miss a visit to Potshot Memorial, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Shothole Canyon, and stroll through Wobiri Beach.

Traveling by car from Kalbarri to Exmouth takes 8.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of taxi and bus. In October, daily temperatures in Exmouth can reach 39°C, while at night they dip to 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
