Lent iconic status as a result of its famous bridge and opera house, Sydney has a down-to-earth charm that enhances its spectacular setting and functional efficiency.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Sat): take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports and then appreciate the extensive heritage of The Rocks. Here are some ideas for day two: race across the water with a speed boat tour, tour the pleasant surroundings at Bondi Beach, and then take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

Known for its numerous beaches and resident koala population, Port Macquarie offers visitors a welcoming environment in which to unwind.
We've included these beaches for you: Saltwater National Park and Elizabeth Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Dolphin & Whale Watching and Sea Acres Rainforest Centre Port Macquarie. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Port Macquarie: Rocks Ferry Reserve (in Wauchope), Wingham Brush Nature Reserve (in Wingham) and Tuncurry Rock Pool (in Tuncurry). There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Cattai Wetlands, don't miss a visit to Breakwall Waking Path, stroll through Pilot Beach, and tee off at Port Macquarie Driving Range and Mini Golf.

When traveling from Sydney in July, plan for little chillier days in Port Macquarie, with highs around 13°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 9°C. Yamba is a town in northern New South Wales, Australia at the mouth of the Clarence River. On the 4th (Sun), get great views at Maclean Lookout, then kick back and relax at Pippi Beach, and then head outdoors with Angourie Blue Pool.

Getting from Port Macquarie to Yamba by car takes about 3.5 hours. While traveling from Port Macquarie, expect a bit warmer days and a bit cooler nights in Yamba, ranging from highs of 24°C to lows of 7°C. On the 5th (Mon), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Byron Bay.

Named after Lord Byron's grandfather, Byron Bay is not only famous as the easternmost point of Australia, but even more so as one of the liveliest vacation spots in the country.
Visiting Arakwal National Park and Cape Byron Walking Track will get you outdoors. Step off the beaten path and head to Broken Head Nature Reserve and Hastings Point Headland. There's much more to do: identify plant and animal life at Pat Morton Lookout, kick back and relax at Wategos Beach, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, and explore the galleries of Hammer and Hand Byron Bay Jewellery and Metal Collective.

You can drive from Yamba to Byron Bay in 2 hours. In August in Byron Bay, expect temperatures between 25°C during the day and 8°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Thu) so you can go by car to Brisbane.
