Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. We've included these beaches for you: Lucky Bay and Thistle Cove. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Blue Haven Beach and Ten Mile Lagoon. Spend the 28th (Thu) exploring nature at Cape Le Grand National Park. Next up on the itinerary: tour the pleasant surroundings at Salmon Beach.

Albany

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Visit Anvil Beach and Cheynes Beach for some beach relaxation. Take a break from the city and head to Lowlands Beach and Cosy Corner Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Albany: Denmark (Lights Beach & Greens Pool). There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Nanarup Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at Waterfall Beach, and explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge.

You can drive from Esperance to Albany in 5 hours. Other options are to fly; or take a bus. In March, plan for daily highs up to 74°F, and evening lows to 56°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Margaret River.
