Melbourne Museum and Shrine of Remembrance will appeal to museum buffs. Get some historical perspective at Old Melbourne Gaol and Sovereign Hill. Venture out of the city with trips to The Great Ocean Road (in Torquay), Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park (in Pearcedale) and Chelsea Beach (in Chelsea). Spend the 8th (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Spend the 17th (Sun) exploring nature at Kinglake National Park.
