Located off of the Great Western Highway, Katoomba is the main hub of the City of Blue Mountains.
For shopping fun, head to Lost Bear Gallery or Blue Mountains Chocolate Company. Do some cultural sightseeing at Katoomba Antique Centre and Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum. Step out of Katoomba with an excursion to Bilpin Cider Company in Bilpin--about 54 minutes away. There's much more to do: view the masterpieces at Falls Gallery, learn about winemaking at Megalong Creek Estate, admire the sheer force of Wentworth Falls, and take some stellar pictures from The Three Sisters.

Relax by the water at Bundjalung National Park and Lennox Head Beach. Do some cultural sightseeing at Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre and Cape Byron Lighthouse. Venture out of the city with trips to Northern Rivers Community Gallery (in Ballina), Iguana Beachwear Gifts & Home Decor (in Iluka) and Lismore (Books and Stuff, Star Court Arcade, & more).
