Once just a small port at the mouth of Mooloolah River, Mooloolaba is now a hotbed of tourism and a place more than worth adding to your Sunshine Coast itinerary.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Maroochydore Beach and Bulcock Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Kondalilla Falls and Marcoola Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Mooloolaba: Maleny (Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve & McCarthy's Lookout). There's lots more to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, walk around Mount Coolum, enjoy the sand and surf at Mooloolaba Beach, and take in the exciting artwork at Atrium Gallery at Buderim Craft Cottage.
