The state of Victoria crown jewel, Melbourne boasts shaded streets, leafy residential neighborhoods, vibrant street life, and a picturesque city center.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Shrine of Remembrance and National Gallery of Victoria. Step out of the city life by going to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Melbourne Zoo. Take a break from Melbourne with a short trip to The Great Ocean Road in Torquay, about 1h 40 min away. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Carrickalinga Beach and Horseshoe Bay. Your inner history buff will appreciate Adelaide Oval and Centennial Park Cemetery. Change things up with these side-trips from Adelaide: Blowhole Beach (in Delamere), Morgan Beach (in Cape Jervis) and Hallett Cove Conservation Park (in Hallett Cove). Visiting The Kangaroo Sanctuary and Alice Springs Reptile Centre will get you outdoors. Do some cultural sightseeing at Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve and Talapi.
