Lent iconic status as a result of its famous bridge and opera house, Sydney has a down-to-earth charm that enhances its spectacular setting and functional efficiency.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Sydney Fish Market and Brett Whiteley Studio. Visit Manly Beach and Bondi Beach for some beach relaxation. Step out of Sydney to go to Manly and see Shelly Beach, which is approximately 36 minutes away. There's much more to do: make a trip to Sydney Opera House, meet the residents at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, kick back and relax at Clovelly, and get to know the fascinating history of The Rocks.

For shopping fun, head to Adelaide Central Market or Rundle Mall. You'll get in some beach time at Carrickalinga Beach and Seacliff Beach. Explore Adelaide's surroundings by going to Vineyard Road Cellar Door (in Belvidere) and Harvest the Fleurieu (in Mount Compass). Dedicate the 22nd (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
