Ulverstone is a town on the northern coast of Tasmania, Australia on the mouth of the Leven River, on Bass Strait. On the 1st (Sat), take in breathtaking views at Leven Canyon. Here are some ideas for day two: pick up a one of a kind souvenir at Antique Emporium, then Head underground at Mole Creek Caves, then contemplate the waterfront views at Dove Lake Circuit, and finally admire the sheer force of Preston Falls.

Step off the beaten path and head to Freycinet National Park and Cape Tourville Lighthouse. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Coles Bay: Tasmanian Wool Centre. (in Ross) and Melshell Oysters (in Swansea). And it doesn't end there: don't miss a visit to Mt Amos Climb, learn about winemaking at Gala Estate Vineyard, view the masterpieces at Kings Fine Art Gallery, and identify plant and animal life at Friendly Beaches.
