A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
On the 19th (Fri), see the interesting displays at SSJG Heritage Centre. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, then enjoy the sand and surf at Roebuck Bay, and then meet the residents at Aqua Broome.

Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Charles Knife Canyon. Step out of the city life by going to Cape Range National Park and Shark Diving. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Turquoise Bay, pause for some photo ops at Potshot Memorial, visit a coastal fixture at Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, and explore the activities along Yardie Creek.

Denham is the administrative town for the Shire of Shark Bay, Western Australia. Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
On the 30th (Tue), kick back and relax at Little Beach, then kick back and relax at Emu Point, then appreciate the history behind Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, and finally take some stellar pictures from Padre White Lookout. Keep things going the next day: stroll through Middleton Beach, hike along Monkey Rock, and then take in the dramatic natural features at Elephant Rocks.
