You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Marcoola Beach and Noosa Farmers Market. Step out of the city life by going to Noosa National Park and Noosa Botanic Gardens. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Noosa: Lows Lookout (in Coolum Beach) and Gympie Gold Mining and Historical Museum (in Gympie).
