A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Tue): stop by Uniquely Broome, then explore the striking landscape at Gantheaume Point, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Cable Beach, and finally stroll the grounds of Japanese Cemetery. Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Change things up with a short trip to Greens Pool in Denmark (about 1 hour away). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre, pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, take in the dramatic natural features at The Gap and Natural Bridge, and have some family-friendly fun at GT Karting Albany.

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia.
