Margaret River

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
You'll get in some beach time at Meelup Beach and Surfers Point. Step out of the city life by going to Lake Cave and Hamelin Bay. Explore Margaret River's surroundings by going to Ngilgi Cave (in Yallingup) and Augusta (Jewel Cave & Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse). Spend the 19th (Tue) on a tasty journey with a beer tour and tasting. Next up on the itinerary: indulge your taste buds at Food & Drink, Head underground at Mammoth Cave, and learn about winemaking at Howard Park - Margaret River Winery and Cellar Door.

Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Get outdoors at Shark Diving and Wobiri Beach. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Turquoise Bay and Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area. There's lots more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Ningaloo Reef, choose your vessel at Ningaloo Car & Boat Hire, take in the exciting artwork at The Ningaloo Gallery, and appreciate the history behind Potshot Memorial.

Fly from Perth to Exmouth in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and car; or drive. Traveling from Perth in March, expect Exmouth to be somewhat warmer, temps between 43°C and 26°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Thu) early enough to travel to Esperance.

Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. We've included these beaches for you: Cape Le Grand National Park and Twilight Bay. Get outdoors at Lucky Bay and Ten Mile Lagoon. There's still lots to do: stroll through Thistle Cove, take a memorable drive along Great Ocean Drive, kick back and relax at Blue Haven Beach, and contemplate the long history of Esperance Stonehenge.
