Sydney is known for nightlife, trails, beaches, shopping, and parks. You'll lose 9 hours traveling from Gothenburg to Sydney due to the time zone difference. In February, Sydney is much warmer than Gothenburg - with highs of 31°C and lows of 23°C. Located off of the Great Western Highway, Katoomba is the main hub of the City of Blue Mountains.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Katoomba: Bilpin Cider Company (in Bilpin), Jenolan Caves (in Jenolan Caves) and Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum (in Faulconbridge). There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic scenery at Wentworth Falls, skim along the rocks with a canyoning and rapelling tour, take some stellar pictures from The Three Sisters, and take in nature's colorful creations at Everglades Historic House and Gardens.
