You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Rockingham Beach and Kayaking & Canoeing. You'll get in some beach time at Mullaloo Beach and City Beach. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Perth: Quinns Rocks Beach (in Quinns Rocks), Mandurah (Waterskiing & Jetskiing, Mandurah Boat & Bike Hire, & more) and Secret Harbour Beach (in Secret Harbour). The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Territory Wildlife Park and Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve. Visiting Magnetic Termite Mounds and Buley Rockhole will get you outdoors. Go for a jaunt from Darwin to Litchfield National Park to see Florence Falls about 1h 20 min away. Spend the 1st (Fri) on the water with a fishing tour. There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at East Point Reserve, witness a stunning natural landmark at Tjuwaliyn (Douglas) Hot Springs Park, choose your vessel at Spirit of Darwin, and get interesting insight from Tours.

Fly from Perth to Darwin in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. The time zone difference moving from Australian Western Standard Time to Australian Central Standard Time (Northern Territory) is 1 hour.
