A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Japanese Cemetery and Broome Town Beach. Get some historical perspective at Catholic Diocese of Broome and Our Lady Queen of Peace Cathedral. On the 30th (Fri), spend a fun day on foot with Walking tours. Spend the 31st (Sat) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.
