Albany

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
On the 3rd (Sat), explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge and then take some stellar pictures from Rotary Lookout Albany. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 4th (Sun): admire all the interesting features of Replica of the Brig Amity, tour the pleasant surroundings at Emu Point, then kick back and relax at Little Beach, and finally don't miss a visit to Mt Melville Lookout.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Step out of the city life by going to Surfers Point and Margaret River Mouth Beach. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Sunflowers Animal Farm and Eagles Heritage Wildlife Centre. Change things up with these side-trips from Margaret River: Yallingup Beach (in Yallingup) and Meelup Beach (in Dunsborough). There's much more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Gnarabup Beach, do a tasting at Knotting Hill Estate Vineyard, look for gifts at Gabriel Chocolate, and cruise along Caves Road.

Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. On the 9th (Fri), take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Frenchman's Peak, kick back and relax at Lucky Bay, then view the masterpieces at Anything & Everything Esperance, and finally don't miss a visit to Esperance Whale Tail. On your second day here, cruise along Great Ocean Drive, tour the pleasant surroundings at Twilight Bay, and then stroll around Esperance Foreshore.

Traveling by combination of bus and flight from Margaret River to Esperance takes 8.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Get outdoors at Safaris and Charles Knife Canyon.
