Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Cheynes Beach and Little Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Greens Pool and Nanarup Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Albany side-trips: Denmark (Anvil Beach & Rising Star Winery), Cosy Corner Beach (in Kronkup) and Lowlands Beach (in Lowlands). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Albany's Historic Whaling Station, explore the wealth of natural beauty at Cable Beach, explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, and admire the landmark architecture of The Church of Saint John the Evangelist.

Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Lucky Bay and Ten Mile Lagoon. Get in touch with nature at Cape Le Grand National Park and Blue Haven Beach. It doesn't end there: identify plant and animal life at Thistle Cove and tour the pleasant surroundings at Salmon Beach.

Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Step off the beaten path and head to Hobart Convict Penitentiary and Cascade Brewery. Get outdoors at Seven Mile Beach and Kingston Beach. Go for a jaunt from Hobart to Brighton to see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary about 30 minutes away.
