Lent iconic status as a result of its famous bridge and opera house, Sydney has a down-to-earth charm that enhances its spectacular setting and functional efficiency.
The Rocks and Sydney Opera House are good opportunities to explore the local culture. We've included these beaches for you: Coogee Beach and Clovelly. There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Bondi Beach, trek along Bondi to Coogee Beach Coastal Walk, wander the streets of Darling Harbour, and see the interesting displays at Australian National Maritime Museum.

London, UK to Sydney is an approximately 24-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of flight and train. A trip to Jervis Bay will take you to the southern coast of New South Wales, known for allegedly boasting some of the whitest sands in the world.
On the 19th (Wed), explore the striking landscape of Murrays Beach, then enjoy the sand and surf at Bendalong Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Callala Beach. On the 20th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: kick back and relax at Nelson Beach, stroll through Hyams Beach, and then kick back and relax at Blenheim Beach.

Named after Lord Byron's grandfather, Byron Bay is not only famous as the easternmost point of Australia, but even more so as one of the liveliest vacation spots in the country.
On the 22nd (Sat), take some stellar pictures from Broken Head Nature Reserve, then enjoy the sand and surf at Broken Head Beach, then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, and finally trek along Cape Byron Walking Track. On the 23rd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: identify plant and animal life at Whian Whian State Conservation Area, kick back and relax at Lighthouse Beach, and then kick back and relax at Lennox Head Beach.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Relax by the water at Anvil Beach, Nullaki Peninsula and Greens Pool. Do some cultural sightseeing at Albany's Historic Whaling Station and National Anzac Centre. Get out of town with these interesting Albany side-trips: Lowlands Beach (in Lowlands), Cosy Corner Beach (in Kronkup) and Denmark (Ocean Beach & Rising Star Winery).
